The Sylvia Brinkman Foundation was established to honor the life and legacy of Sylvia Ann Brinkman, a beloved teacher, coach, and community leader who dedicated more than 30 years to shaping young lives in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Through scholarships and program support, we carry forward the values of excellence, dedication, and service that defined Sylvia's life.

Sylvia Ann Brinkman
For more than three decades, Sylvia Brinkman dedicated her life to education, athletics, and the Oak Ridge community. As a teacher, coach, and mentor, she touched countless lives, inspiring young athletes to pursue excellence on the track and in the classroom.
A charter board member of the Oak Ridge Sports Hall of Fame, Associate Professor at Roane State Community College, and devoted assistant track coach, Sylvia's impact reached far beyond any single role.
